Privacy Policy
Last updated 22 September 2026
The short version: Country Fit stores and processes your locations, trips and settings on your iPhone. There is no account, and we don't receive your location data.
Who we are
Country Fit is made by Anton Chuiko, an independent developer. For any privacy question, email hi@getcountryfit.com.
Location
If you allow location access, the app records where you are so it can count your days in each country automatically. These records are stored in the app's database on your iPhone and matched to countries using maps built into the app. No request made by the app contains your coordinates. You can use the app without location access by entering trips yourself.
Photos
If you choose to import trips from your photos, the app reads the location and date stored in the photos you select. It reads them on your iPhone and never uploads them.
iCloud sync
If you turn on iCloud sync, your data is stored in your private iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit. Apple holds it under Apple's privacy policy, and we can't access it.
Crash reports
To fix bugs, the app may send crash and performance reports to Sentry, our error-monitoring provider. These reports describe what the app was doing when it failed. Before sending, the app removes locations, day counts, rules and anything you entered. Reports aren't linked to your identity or used for tracking or advertising.
Purchases
Subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store. We don't see your name, email or payment details. The app only receives confirmation of which subscription is active.
What we don't do
No advertising, no third-party analytics, no tracking across apps or websites, and no selling or sharing of your data.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app removes its data from your iPhone. If you use iCloud sync, you can also delete the app's iCloud data in Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage.
Children
Country Fit isn't directed at children under 13 and collects no personal data from anyone.
